    About this Site

Let us state up front that we love discussion and feedback. There is a place to add your own comments at the bottom of each post (scratch out a comment). You may also post a quick message on the tag board at the right. And in the left column you may contact us via an email form.

    Site usage

To move around the site just scroll down for past posts, at the end of the page there will be a “next” link to go farther back in the archives. Also on the right there is a calender allowing you to jump straight to a particular date's post. On the left are several links, the first of which lead to other areas of our site.

    Who are we?

Well, most of the site is devoted to my essays, thoughts and rebuttals of news stories. However, “We” is all of us. I get a good deal of input from sources around me, including people that are reading this site. That input in someway finds itself into the site, be it in the form of topic selection, encouragement or a refutation. Feel free to join in.

    How did we begin?

Good question. It was basically a natural evolution. On our quotes page are a few quotations by authors that say in summery “we have no choice but to write, it is our calling”. There is also one by myself saying much the same thing. I have tried to not write, but I'll go nuts if I don't. The only question is topic. I believe this all first began when the government was spending tax money on something I thought was a waste. Follow the money and you'll go far in this life. Anyway, I started writing to inform others of the wisdom of the Right side of the isle and things have never slowed down. The original version of The Barnyard was emailed out, but since I never asked anybody if they wanted to be on the list, I kinda felt bad and eventually found my way to the blogsphere where people may choose to read or not.

    Thank you for coming here.

    Joining in
